Hi there! I’m Jarrett

With a background in architecture and themed entertainment, I’m an Experiential Creative Director based in Los Angeles. But really, I’m a storyteller that uses the physical world as a canvas to craft groundbreaking theme park attractions, immersive theater productions, marketing activations, and retail experiences.

I’ve helped design and deliver a portfolio of award-winning projects of different scales all around the world, whether an E-Ticket attraction in Shanghai, an original production in Los Angeles, a tech product launch in Brooklyn, or an experiential marketing activation broadcast to millions online. Projects that are beloved by both audiences and critics, and yes… are feasible within the unique budgetary and operating challenges that the real world can bring. But most of all, I love to harness human psychology to design in-person experiences that create impact in people’s lives.

Currently, I work as a Creative Manager at Netflix Live Experiences, designing unique real-world attractions and experiences for fans around the world.

What do we leave behind when we’re gone? A mashup of immersive theater, escape rooms, serialized podcasts, and narrative video games, The Nest is one of Los Angeles’ buzziest shows, featured in The Verge, NPR, the LA Times, and a winner of a Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement - the highest honor in themed entertainment.

Merge Mansion

Co-Creative Director

As the culmination of a major marketing campaign for the immensely popular mobile game “Merge Mansion,” our team completely transformed LA's historic Paramour Estate into an hour-long interactive investigation experienced by celebrities and influencers to be broadcast to their fans online, resulting in 356.8M press event impressions and 177.9M event day social impressions.

Zootopia: HOT PURSUIT

Creative Lead

I was the lead designer of Shanghai Disneyland’s upcoming Zootopia-themed anchor attraction from the initial “Blue Sky” phase and into construction, developing the overall concept, layout, and story alongside the Creative Director, and directing groups of designers to further develop its scenic design, architecture, ride layout, and more.

BOSE LAUNCH EVENT

Creative Director

This product launch event provided the world’s first hands-on experience with Bose’s new QuietComfort Ultra headphones and earbuds. We converted a historic former bank in Williamsburg into a living manifestation of Bose’s new bold color palette, including a custom product demo inside of a modern, neon-drenched version of a recording studio, photo moments captured by a robot arm, and an evening tastemakers party headlined by Ice Spice.

Shanghai Disneyland

Concept Architecture + Art Direction

Every project needs a centerpiece. I was a key member of the Concept Architecture team that designed the park’s iconic castle, combining attractions, walkthroughs, retail, restaurants, and fireworks into one cohesive design, and worked directly on the Shanghai construction site as Field Art Director for Fantasyland Village, ensuring the Creative Director’s vision was maintained in every detail.

At Made, a startup disrupting the home renovation industry, I led Made’s Retail & Events group by developing business strategy, launching new showrooms, managing team members, and creating retail concepts alongside our partners, including The Home Depot.

I developed rendered concepts and schematic packages for several exhibits throughout the world, bringing MOIC’s clean, fresh, and fun design language to sites in Chicago and Shanghai.
